Waterfalls

Discover Franche Comté region waterfalls, which are all worth seeing :

• Cirque de Consolation : overlooked by 350m of cliffs, you will find the Lançot waterfall, the viewpoint of the Roche du Prêtre and a monastery from the 17th century

• Saut du Doubs : A 27 meters high waterfall which share its borders with Switzerland

• Cascades du Hérisson : a hike in the middle of nature

• Source du Lison : enjoy marked hikes from 15 minutes to 2 hours

 

 

 

Grotte d’Osselle

Discovered in the 13th century, the Osselle cave is one of the longest landscaped routes in France. You will find a natural setting with a wide variety of crystallizations and also historical treasures such as two complete bear skeletons.

Grotte de la Glacière 

In this Cave, you will discover fossils of prehistoric animals: dinosaurs, sea urchins, crabs, one-meter fish, … Amazing landscapes sculpted by water. Also, another space to discover: the museum of minerals and stones of the world as well as human paleontology.

Gouffre de Poudrey

The 70 meters chasm leads to a cave of impressive dimensions, it could contain Notre-Dame de Paris.
It represents the largest underground room fitted out in France and is today one of the ten most important in Europe.
